Davis has unfortunate hair. Yes, he has Brian's hair line! We are hoping that his little cul-de-sacs fill in someday.

We went in for Brian's pre-surgery doctor's appointment yesterday and the doctor came in with some bad news. He said he looked at the MRI again and decided the surgery was going to be much more extensive than he previously thought, so doing it during this one week break wouldn't work. So now Brian has to limp around for another 3 months until June! Then he has to get the ACL repaired and have meniscus implants and microfractures in his cartilage (whatever that means) and won't be able to walk for several months. Thanks for all the good luck comments and they can carry over to June. The good news is that I got a new job at Target. It will be during the night so Brian can be home with Davis and we can keep in state tuition.

Bad Week Ahead...

Well, Brian did what he does best... tore his ACL in his knee. He has to have surgery on Tuesday and hopefully won't miss too much school. Maybe it is time for him to give up basketball what do you think? He has been pretty positive about the whole thing, but he says that that might change on Tuesday. Also, Davis fell all the way down the stairs tonight and scared us half to death. He was fine but Brian just kept kissing him and asking him if he was okay for the rest of the night. On a good note, we went to Cincinnati and Lexington, KY this past weekend. It was kind of a spur of the moment trip. We just found places to stay and eat as we went. Davis loved the Kentucky Horse Farm (mainly throwing rocks though).

Almost done with Finals, Yippee!

Today is Brian's last day for his finals. He had one this morning and has one this afternoon. I'm so excited for him to be done (for a week). He has literally been studying all day every day for the last two weeks. Davis never gets to see him because Brian leaves before he gets up and comes home after I've put him to bed. Davis will be so excited to finally have time with his daddy.

trying to be a blogger

Hi everyone that reads this blog. Brian keeps telling me to post more stuff. I've been in Utah for the past couple of weeks and I promise when I get home I will try to be a blogger. Everyone says how addicting it is but I just don't know about that. I hope I feel that way in a couple of weeks.
I'll update soon and hopefully put some more pictures on.
