Grandparents Visit
We had a lot of fun having our parent's come out and visit and help with Davis and Brian after his surgery. We were able to go on some little vacations, eat out a lot, and watch lots of movies. We went to Hocking Hills State park, Kirtland, to an Amish community, and to Lexington Kentucky. Thanks Moms and Dads for all that you did for us and do for us. We couldn't ask for better parents. We love you!
We asked them if they had wheel chairs
and they offered the motorized wheel chair. (Awesome) Brian had
so much fun riding around.

Surgery update
Well Brian is doing pretty good. He kinda had a bad morning right before surgery. We got there at 7:20 and the receptionist forgot about him after he registered. Brian thought that he was going to have to reschedule his surgery. The nurse that was putting the IV in tried 7 times and collapsed his veins. Finally the anesthesiologist came over and had to put it in his wrist. Then during surgery he woke up and felt a lot of pain so they had to give him a nerve block in his leg. When my dad and I finally got to go in and see him he said that it was the worst experience he has had. He did have a pretty good night his first night home though. He feels better than he expected so that is great!

I've been so lazy
Well I know that I have not posted for a very long time. I don't know why, I just have been lazy I guess. My parents came out last Wednesday and we went back to Hocking Hills and went up to Kirtland which was so beautiful. We've had a lot of fun with them and now Brian is having his surgery. Tomorrow morning we have to been at the hospital at around 7 am. I think that we are both a little nervous but I know everything will be OK.

My Beautiful Wife by Brian
I just wanted to let my wife know how much I love and appreciate her. I couldn't ask for a better wife and Davis has the most loving and patient mom in the world. I think that the patience will be a plus for him in the future I am starting to realize. She works all night and takes care of Davis all day just because she wants her husband to be able to eat at Wendy's whenever he wants. She is the lowest maintenance girl I have ever met. We live in a dirt hole compared to some of our friends, but she never complains (well, maybe a little). She has a pure and never doubting faith in her Savior. I have always admired that. She does things because she knows they are the right things to do and for no other reason. She can always make me laugh with the things that she says especially when she isn't even trying. She also has some great hair. Davis and I love you Rachy!

Hocking Hills
Brian didn't have to go to school yesterday so we decided to take a little day trip down to Hocking hills national forest. It is about an hour southeast of Columbus and it's a pretty cool place. It was raining so we didn't hike around to much but we saw a lot of prettiness. It is so green and peaceful there. We're thinking about going back when my parents come and visit and maybe stay in a little cabin or cottage. There's so many cool little places to stay and eat at.
Pretty picture
It is called Old Man's Cave
I know you really can't see us but we
wanted to capture the scene behind us.
behind him to hold it up.

Not a whole lot going on around here
I don't really have a lot to post because we really haven't done anything besides watch movies and sleep for the past month. Brian has been studying a lot and will be finished with this quarter in one month. I'm so excited for him to finish because that means my parents will be coming out to visit. They're coming out June 4th and I'm trying to plan a little trip to go on once they get here. Brian wants to do something fun before he has his surgery June 10th. After my parents leave Brian's parents will be coming out. June is going to be fun for me but not so much fun for Brian. I can't wait to have some help with Davis. Bless his little heart I love him to pieces but I can't wait to have a break from him. We just can't get babysitters out here very often so we have to take him with us on dates and everywhere we go.
These are just some pics I took of Davis Today. I kept telling him to say cheese. He kept smile after I would take the pictures. I did get some cute smiles though.
