Christmas was a pretty good day. Davis was feeling better which was great! He was such an ornery little thing almost the whole time Brian's parents were here. Christmas night Craig and Joann took us out for my b-day. They told me I got to choose the restaurant but the only thing that was open was a little Chinese place so it was pretty easy to choose.

2nd Surgery
Well, it has been almost a week that Brian had another knee surgery. I meant to post about it last week but there was always something going on. Brian is doing well, he hasn't been in too much pain which surprised him. The Doctor told him it was going to be really painful. This surgery was different from any surgery he has had. They had to realign his knee joint so they took a chunk of bone from his tibia. I really don't know exactly what they did but they did break his bone. He won't be able to put any weight on it for 8 weeks which stinks because it is cold and icy out here. Thanks to Brian's parents they are out here helping us. I just keep thinking how glad I am that they came. I know that they are pretty bored because all we really do is stay in the house but Davis has been sick so we don't get out much.

Craft Night
Some of us gals got together this week and had a craft night. We made some cute pumpkins and some fireworks. They're the same thing but just painted differently. It was a lot of fun and we plan to do it every month. I am really not that crafty but it is nice to have an excuse to get out of the house and be with girls. Thanks Amanda and Kevin for doing all that you did to get everything ready for us, and for letting us come to your house.

What Can You Get For $180?
Rach said that she would like to get a new couch for the condo, but seeing as how I am owned by The Ohio State University I thought it would be a bad idea. Then, my friend Josh told me about the JC Penny outlet and said you can find some good deals. How's $180 bucks for a brand new sectional sound for a good deal!? It has a minor flaw that you can't even see. I don't want to blow this out of proportion but its probably the best thing I have ever done in my life ever buying this couch.

A Bunch of Halloweenies
This Halloween was so fun and eventful. Ohio is such a great place for Halloween because the leaves are still falling and its not too cold. Davis loved trick-or-treating. He couldn't believe all the candy people were giving to him. He was Batman even though he doesn't know who he is. He even learned the Batman song, "Da na na na na na na Batman!" Our condo complex had hot air balloons and a lot of people just sitting on their porches to hand out candy. It has been a wonderful fall in Ohio.
We just thought this was funny. I put Davis' little chair facing the wall and when we gave him a bowl of crackers, he still just went and sat in it. So here he is facing the wall eating his crackers.
The finished jack-o-lanterns. Brian said the Jazz pumpkin is supposed to be the other one's hat.

Shayne and Sherri had a great party on Halloween! She went all out on the decorations. It was a fun atmosphere and all the food had gross or scary names like vomit dip and severed fingers.
Davis' first trick -or-treating experience. He was so cute! He wanted his mask down like that the whole time.

My New Dentist!
I haven't had a cleaning for sooo long, but now Brian can do that for me! We should have got a picture of him working on me but we just weren't thinking. It was fun, but it was a long time to be in the chair because he has to get everything passed off before he can move on. He did a great job and my teeth feel so clean!

Pumpkin Show
My Friend Lacy and I took Davis down to the pumpkin show in Circleville Ohio. It's about 40 min south of Columbus and it seemed like everyone in Ohio attends. There were craft booths and tons of food places with all kinds of pumpkin things. We ate pumpkin donuts and ice cream. It was a lot of fun to get out of the house and do something different for a change while the guys all studied. Thanks Lacy for inviting us.

Guess What!!!!!
We went to the doctor today and she told us that we are having a little girl! That's right I'm pregnant. We didn't tell our families until we found out the sex. We are pretty good secret keepers. Davis says he is excited for a baby sister but I don't know if he really gets it. It has been killing Brian not being able to tell. Well now you know why I have been being such a lame blogger. Now what to name her.......

New York Pictures are gone
I know that almost everyone has given up on me with blogging but for those of you who haven't I have to tell you that we lost all our pictures we took in New York. We actually lost about 300 pictures altogether. I really don't know what happened but somehow the pictures all got erased from the card. I think that our camera has seen better days so I may need to get a new one. Our friends sent some pictures they took of us on the last day but it's really not that cool to see us. I have to figure out how to post them from my email. I know, I don't know how to do that so Brian will have to help me.
We had a wonderful time in New York! Jimmy and Jen were great hosts and were so nice to let us stay. Our first real day there we got up and headed down to Battery Park to catch the ferry to go over to Ellis Island. On the way out to the island we passed Lady Liberty and Brian and I were both surprised that she wasn't bigger. Now don't get me wrong she is still big but not as big as we both thought. Ellis Island was really neat even though I was ready to go after the automated tour. Brian loved it so much and said that he could spend 2 days there. I did like it and it was interesting, but I was done walking around and trying to listen because my little automated device was not working so well. After the tour we headed back up to Wall Street to meet Jimmy and Jen for lunch and to see Wall Street and the Big Bull. I can't believe that there are so many people always there. We saw a little bit of China Town and Little Italy. They were actually having some kind of celebration in Little Italy so Brian was in heaven. That night we saw Wicked. It was awesome! But I do have to say that I fell asleep in it through a couple of songs. It was a long day and I didn't get much sleep the night before so that is my excuse. I tried so, so hard to stay awake but sleep got the best of me. The music was so good though. I would like to maybe get the CD. The next day we went on a tour of the city and that night we went to dinner with the Macfarlanes and the Gedges. It was so much fun. Sunday our last day we just went to church and walked through Central Park which is another beautiful place that is Huge! We also went to the Empire State Building.
We really wanted to see the Museum of Natural History but we just couldn't do everything in 3 days so we are going to go back again someday. It is an awesome place to visit but I could never live there.

New York here we come!
I'm so excited! We are going to NY City tomorrow and Davis is not coming with us, Yahoo! (j/k, I will really miss him). We are going to stay at our good friends place, Jimmy and Jen who were our neighbors when we lived in Logan. They are out there for an internship or something like that for Jimmy and they live right in or by Manhatten. We thought we better go visit them and see NY at the same time. Davis will be staying at our friends house Kevin and Amanda who have a little boy the same age as Davis. We actually just watched their little boy Braxton last weekend while they went to NY and stayed with the same friends Jimmy and Jen. We all know each other. Anyway, We are only going for about 4 days but I don't care it will still be fun. We have tickets to go see Wicked and everyone that has seen it said it is the best show, so I'm so excited about that! Well when we get back I will post some pics of the fun trip.

We've Moved!
I know that I'm the most pathetic poster lately. We've been busy with moving and I really haven't taken a lot of pictures. We just got the internet up so hopefully soon I will post our new place. We love it so much and are so grateful to have gotten it. Check back in a few days and maybe I will have posted something.

The big 2
I can't believe that my baby is 2 years old. Time really does fly once you start having kids. Brian and I are so happy that Davis is apart of our family. He makes us laugh everyday and always puts a smile on our face when we're in a bad mood. He loves to be outside and go on walks, slide down the slide, throw the ball with dad, eat nacks (snacks) and play with his cars while watching the movie Cars. He really is all boy and it is a lot of fun. Life would be so boring without you buddy! We love you so much.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

My sweet husband
Last Friday when I came back from Utah Brian had this on the table for me. How cute and thoughtful huh? The sad part of it all was that I had the book already. He asked me on the phone a few days before if I had gotten any presents while I was there and I told him that I hadn't. He was all excited on the phone to get me something. I didn't even think about the book because my mom bought a couple of them and then told me just to take one home. I felt so bad because it was such a perfect gift and it really went well together. Thanks Brian for doing something so cute for me, I loved it so much even though I already had it. You're the best!

Fun Times
Last weekend Brian really wanted to go to a Chicago Cubs game but the tickets were too much money so we decided to go to a Cleveland Indians game instead. We went up with our friends Dave and Stephanie and stayed in a hotel. It was pretty fun just to go and see a game even though I really didn't watch much. Davis was actually pretty good. I only took him for 2 little walks.
During the middle of this week we were able to go camping with some other friends, the Baldwins and the Richards. We went to a place not far from our house called Alum Creek Lake. There were many campsites around and a fun beach they made where we were able to go swim. We had a great time Amanda, thanks for inviting us.
Here are a bunch of pics from the past week.

Brian didn't bring his swim suit so he had a lot of fun building a sandcastle and covering Davis with Sand.
Davis and Braxton had a great time playing in the dirt. They were filthy the whole time but they had fun.
Kevin decided to get a long stick and put it in there so it could crawl out. I bet it was so happy to finally get out of the garbage.
